Because of its uniqueness, it was a diplomatic gift for Kings and heads of state. Amber stone is found all over the world, but only Baltic Amber from the Baltic Sea is special because it contains succinic acid. Amber (fossil resin) formed millions of years ago has one of the main properties which is succinic acid. The human body produces a small amount of it (200 g each day), but in the case of greater physical or psychological stress, the succinic acid resources in the body are quickly used up resulting in immunity weakening, fatigue, and apathy. Succinic acid enters the body by diffusion when it is touched or massaged onto the skin.

The University of Hamburg in Germany confirmed the traditional positive and safe effects of amber and succinic acid on human metabolism. It has also been researched that succinic acid is a powerful antioxidant that helps fight toxic free radicals and heart rhythm disorders. Succinic acid promotes recovery of the nervous system and strengthens the immune system, as well as helps compensate for the energy drain in the body and brain, increasing awareness, concentration, reflexes, and reducing stress.

Research showed that succinic acid reduces microbial growth by more than 99.9 % at a concentration as low as 0.1 %. When treating acne, succinic acid can be used as an effective alternative to salicylic acid or as a booster for other ingredients that fight acne. Succinic acid is obtained by processing natural amber while maintaining its beneficial properties.
